During my time on the marketing team at Acentech Incorporated, I was tasked with creating animated videos to post on social media and on the company's website in order to increase online engagement and spread awareness about events and special dates in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry. 

During a marketing meeting with HR, we were brainstorming ways that we could improve our website's "careers" and "about us" pages in order to gain interest from prospective employees. We found that one of our main selling points as to why someone should be interested in a career at Acentech was the fact that our company is 100% employee owned. As the youngest member of the team, and someone who is in the early stages of beginning my career, I explained that many recent college graduates are unaware of what it means to work for a company that is employee owned, and what the benefits of that are. I suggested the idea of creating a short video to go on our website and social media to explain what makes Acentech an employee owned company, describes the benefits of working for an employee owned company, and provides a window into our company culture.
